That meant going face to face with one of his attackers in hopes of eliciting an explanation that could be used as a confession – even though the man says he would very much enjoy a repeat of their “little session together.” What Eric doesn’t expect is to learn that what is right and what is justice are in the eye of the beholder…and that even the most depraved of men has good, logical, understandable reasons for the evil he commits. And what is worse – that the world is cruelly selective on those whom it deems worthy of protection…or condemnation.

     When Eric realizes someone else has suffered the same horror he went through – and it looks as if the men who committed both crimes will get away with it, thanks to our so-called system of justice – a certain madness takes over and he determines to make the world aware of what’s been done, no matter what.
     At the same time, all Bobby wants to do is rebuild his life, provide for his wife and child and forget about everything else.  Absolutely everything.  And it looks like that is exactly what will happen.
     But then Eric unleashes a tsunami of anger and hate…and soon comes to realize exactly what he’s done.  But it’s too late to stop the furious lies now being slung at both him and the one person he was trying to help – Bobby Carapisi.

Bobby Carapisi - Volume I

That night started out bad for Eric Larsen.  He was a struggling actor waiting tables at a small restaurant and had been dealing with cheap, obnoxious jerks all evening.  Then Allen Barrow strolled in the door and was nice and left a big tip – and Eric felt his luck had turned.  What he didn’t realize was that turn would be for the worse.  Which happened as he headed home.  And was kidnapped.  And sexually assaulted.  And treated as though he was nothing but a male whore hired to service three johns.
     The opposite was true for Bobby Carapisi.  His world was perfect – with a wife and child and another baby on the way, with his dream job as a relief pitcher going beautifully, and with his future in baseball full of promise.  But then his wife wanted some lime sherbet, late one night.  So he jaunted out to get it.  And wound up being taken through the same horror as Eric.  By the same three men.  But this time with even worse brutality.  And all because he made a snap decision to go to this store instead of that one.
     What neither man realized was, their ordeals had only just begun.

Antony Patric St. Lazarre was gay and proud and halfway through obtaining a degree in Communications when he met Collier, a professor at his University.  They became lovers and Antony felt his life was complete.  But then one of Collier’s students falsely accused him of rape, and he was arrested and brutally attacked in the county jail by a group of thugs — and wound up dead.  And Antony’s life threatened to spin into chaos.
     It wasn’t until a chance comment jolted him out of his grief that Antony began to realize what happened in Holding Cell Six was not “a horrible tragedy that no one have prevented” but was just the latest in a series of vicious sexual assaults visited on innocent men in that room.  And the more he dug into its history, the deeper the conspiracy grew until it threatened to destroy not only him but the one person in his life he desperately wanted to protect.
     Problem is — Antony was far too lost in his hate to see that — or even be able to stop himself before it’s too late.
